A Talk With My Mother

Episode #9
11

This one has been a long time coming. It took me months to convince my mother, Bonnie Lynn, to sit down and chat for the podcast. I am so glad she finally did. Not only is she the most charming, Southern lady, she has such a beautiful story. One of the funniest, most talented people I know, you’ll recognize her paintings that adorn every one of my Monday Memoir posts.

From an early knowledge of herself as an artist, to majoring in Graphic Design at The University of Georgia, to starting her own t-shirt printing business when my brother and I were little babies, she has done SO much. She’s also maintained a lifelong love of Italy where she has traveled extensively since her first time in 1976 when she studied abroad.

She’s my best friend and soulmate. My greatest teacher and favorite person to drink Prosecco and chilled red wine with. I know you will love this episode as much as I will treasure it forever. Please enjoy, Bonnie Lynn Hendrix Felton, the most talented painter in the entire world.

Find her on IG @bonzart and her Etsy shop BonnieLine!! Also, find all of her art at lynnfelton.com.
