Needed to read this today! I moved to NYC and then LA also with big dreams of being an actor, but pursued it less than halfheartedly. As I slowly walk away from that dream, I'm often plagued with fears that it's not the right decision. When I read about other peoples' decision to say "I can have other dreams, too!" it really helps.
I’m so glad this resonates and I know exactly how you feel. It took a long time, as in years, of decompression to feel confident that moving on from acting was the right move. Ultimately, I couldn’t stand the feeling of constantly waiting for something to happen. It’s truly been such a relief. Thank you for this comment and for reading ⚡️❤️

So much of this resonates...except that part about being envious of people in their early 20s who don't know what they want to be. That was me and it was equally as challenging; I've always been envious of you, your mother and your brother because you all KNEW what your dream career was. Lastly, you would've been a great physician; but you're GREAT as whatever You you choose to be...
