This was so inspiring! Do you have a specific process for time blocking, like do you list out everything you want to get accomplished and then find a spot for it? Do you ever find yourself over-blocked? Also - love your recognition to try to figure out why work is deflating when you love the pieces of it— sounds like you DO need a vacation (some time to get bored somewhere else!).

Also - have you watched Cunk On Earth? I feel like it’d be a great companion/follow-up to your current documentary binge.

My sweet Emma! Thank you for all these Q’s. I do still like to put pen to paper to list out my ToDos and then map them out for the week in my calendar app. I allow for a lot of flexibility, fitting in and moving blocks around since inevitably stuff comes up every week to disrupt the planned flow. I’ve been careful not to overbook by accounting for the fact that tasks always take longer (like an hour longer at least) than I expect. So I pad the blocks with about 30 minutes on either side. And then usually I end up finishing early.

Thank you for the show recommendation!! Sending you a huge hug and kiss❤️❤️

Also a big fan of time blocking! 🙌🏼

Though I only really do it in my work calendar and for personal life/side projects I'm still a pen and paper gal, with tasks instead of time blocks.

Maybe it's time to move with the times and get more colourful 😊

Well give yourself time for the transition! It literally took me 5 years to accept my new self but now the colors are what thrill me the most. 🩵

“I think I want challenge and responsibility, real ownership and recognition. “

I feel this so deeply! I loved your piece and relate to where you’re at, and to what you’re going through. I’m with ya! Someday we will both have all of that in spades. I just know it. Xoxo

I admire your admiration of your colorful schedule. I have to work on a schedule but long for the day when I am creating a schedule of things I do for others and myself that has nothing to do with goals established FOR me. Until then, I will live by the colors on on my calendar!

I love your little friend.
