You’re so right, refocus and keep going!! You are getting stronger and you are gaining “weight” because muscle weighs more than fat! Please get a seamstress tape and start measuring yourself too. It saved me from an I’m-gaining-weight crash out to see the inches were in fact getting smaller. Thanks for sharing your experience 🖤
Thanks for watching and for your lovely comments, Kera!! Measuring is THE hack! I just wrote in another comment that I’m going full blown new belief/maybe a little delusional mode. I’m already in the exact body I want to be in, already achieved the goal. It makes exercise feel so much more productive and enjoyable when you’re not doing it to “lose weight” but instead doing it because you love your body. Sounds a little cringe but I’m going full in on this new philosophy.
Echoing others, muscle weighs more than fat; also, hydration, sodium and sugar intake can all affect the numbers on the scale. Look into a body composition scale, as it will help keep things in perspective. Keep at it, love your body, do what FEELS good! XOXO
Also don’t forget perimenopause? I hate to throw that in there, but hormones effect this also. Good to get them checked by your PCP. But also, who cares about the scale for real! Love you & your videos.
Omg! Can we TALK about this though because how real is the perimenopause aspect? Not to mention my body just looooooks different, my skin and face and I don’t even mean in a bad way. I think it’s just something to take note of and learn to love. I’ve also decided this month to just start living like I’m in the exact shape and body I want to be in. Already made it, no more ‘losing weight’ already perfect! Thanks for watching!! You’re the best!!
Exactly! Everything is changing over here, too. But I love your perspective to live life fully. Weight loss or not, we deserve to live joyfully in this one precious life & appreciate our changes when we can ~ perspective truly is everything. Always appreciate your realness with that ❤️

Exactly! That’s the mindset I’m trying to attain. Making that mental shift…whoof.
