My Dear Paid Subscribers,
I hinted on Monday that I am cooking up some digital holiday treats for you all. This week’s Tea Talk is a lead in. A preface. A Coming Soon.
I’ve been in the practice of manifesting for a long time. Before you roll your eyes all the way into the back of your head, allow me to expand. In my opinion, everything is a manifestation. You want a bowl of cereal so you walk into your kitchen, grab a bowl, fill it with cereal and milk and there you have it, a manifestation. Ya had a thought, ya took some action, you’re eating Honey Bunches of Oats.
Most likely, you knew you had cereal in your pantry when you thought of your desire for it and so lacked any doubt that the possibility of getting a bowl of it was high. Hence, easy, automatic manifesting. This stuff starts to get murky and painful and drawn out and hard when our fears and doubts activate and the possibilities for our futures become limited.
With sensitivity to the fact that this manifestation conversation is nauseatingly overplayed and usually pretty out of touch with reality (see: eggs are $8 and rent is ever-increasing), I am offering you this light, fun, nostalgic activity to introduce my gift to you…My 10 Step Guide to Manifesting. (Coming in a few weeks.) I promise you I am in on the joke, the guide is good but it’s also funny and it costs no money to do the steps. It’s more of a feel better guide than anything else.
This week, to get ourselves in gear, here is my favorite way to vision board. And yes, I do usually start this shit around now as opposed to January 1st. Who doesn’t love a head start on your dreams and goals for a new year?? Oh also, I figured out how to screen record on my computer and included a very low budget How To video at the end for further instruction.
