Let's talk about patience.

Hello from 2025!! We are officially halfway through the first half of the first official week of the New Year. Wow, how’s everyone doing? For all of my California folks, I hope you are safe. I’m so sorry for these terrifying fires. In my eight years in Los Angeles, I experienced the Santa Ana winds and several fires but never at the same time. This is colossal.

I’m kicking off this year’s Tea Talks with a discussion about patience. An attribute that has arrived silently in my life, cozily settled in and become a part of my core without my noticing. It wasn’t until my fifth annual vision party, a tradition carried out with my oldest friend Lauren, (she’s not old, our friendship is…35 years and counting?) that I realized I’ve reached a point of calm acceptance.
